How to restore iMessages on MacOS

I have an iPad, iPhone, and MacBook. I accidentally deleted some of my iMessages on my Mac but not on my iPhone or iPad. How can I restore these to the Mac?

When messages is deleted from Mac it can be recovered Delete messages and conversations in Messages on Mac - Apple Support

Recover a recently deleted message or conversation

When you delete a message or conversation, it’s moved to the Recently Deleted folder. You can view and recover items in the Recently Deleted folder for up to 30 days. After 30 days, the messages are removed from all your devices. After 40 days, the messages are permanently deleted from iCloud.

  1. In the Messages app  on your Mac, choose View > Recently Deleted.
  2. Select the conversation in the sidebar.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Recover a recently deleted message or conversation: Click Recover.

The same recovered messages will again sync with iPhone / iPad when messages box is turned on , you have to click sync from messages preferences see the steps in the article Access your messages on all your Apple devices - Apple Support

When you use Messages in iCloud, all the messages you send, receive, and delete are updated on all your Apple devices automatically. Keeping your messages in iCloud also helps you save space on your Mac.

To use Messages in iCloud, you need macOS 10.13.5 or later, iOS 11.4 or later, or iPadOS 13 or later. You also need to be signed in to iMessage using the same Apple ID on every device where you want to use Messages in iCloud.

I have all of my messages in sync across devices but it doesn’t delete across all devices. So when I accidentally deleted the messages on my Mac it stayed on my phone and iPad. Now I want to resync all of the messages back to my Mac and nothing works to get them loaded back.
