How many contacts can be pinned in the message page?

How many contacts can we pin in the message? Page device is iPhone 14.

Hidden preview with hourglass showing up on my texts When I go into my text messages the first thing I see is a name and an hourglass and it says ‘hidden preview’ when I go to open the text messages it says communication limit and then it will say okay or add to contact list but all these contacts are already in my list so I don't understand why they're coming up like that and it’s only some? Hasn’t anyone put in the contacts before? Has anyone pinned more than nine contacts?
