AirPod Max wrong color in settings

I’ve just got the AirPod Max’s and have had problems from the start. They didn’t connect how the instructions described, where it would just show up on the screen if held close. I had to manually press the buttons and find it in my bluetooth settings. Now, however, when I go to the settings the little icon shows the space grey Airpod Max’s, when I have the silver. It’s a bit confusing because other people in my house have the space grey version, so I always do a double-take to make sure it’s mine..
