Studio Display not detected in bootcamp windows on MBP 2018 (15inch)

Hi All,

I have a problem that's driving me nuts!

A few days ago I treated myself to an Apple 27inchStudio Display. When connected via Thunderbolt to my 2018 MacBook Pro (15 inch, Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB & Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB) running macOS 13.1, it works without a problem.

As soon as I boot the same machine in windows 10 through bootcamp, the display remains black. It does nothing except for continuing to charge the MBP. The latest 15.5 display firmware is installed, boot camp updates 6.1.17 and 6.1.19 on the windows installation as well.

I've tried for days to get it working including reinstalling bootcamp/windows several times, extracting the studio display drivers, updating the drivers manually through the device manager in windows. Nothing helped, the display remains black. Windows recognises a hidden device though (see image attached). The bootcamp control panel in windows also gives me the tab for "display". When you click on it, it merely says "no supported external displays connected". Does anybody have a tip what else I can try?

I hope someone out there will be able to help me. This is the first time that an Apple product did not deliver as promised. I am disappointed and beyond frustrated at this point.

Many thanks

Gus
