Is it really not possible to uninstall the Music app on mac os?

If not uninstall, what steps can I take to utterly and severely disable this spammy app from jumping at me and opening at random times an _uncloseable_ popup with "start listening" on it?

It is not possible to uninstall the Music app on a Mac running macOS. The Music app is a built-in system app and cannot be removed like a regular app from the Applications folder.

However, there are a few things you can try to disable the Music app from jumping at you and opening at random times:

  1. Close the Music app: If the Music app is open, you can close it by clicking on the "Music" menu in the top menu bar, then selecting "Quit Music" or by right-clicking on the Music app icon in the Dock and selecting "Quit."
  2. Turn off the "Open at Login" option: To do this, right-click on the Music app icon in the Dock, then select "Options" and uncheck the "Open at Login" option.
  3. Turn off the Music app's notifications: To do this, go to "System Preferences" > "Notifications," then select the Music app in the list of apps on the left. From there, you can choose to turn off the notifications for the app entirely, or you can customize the settings to only show notifications for specific events.

I hope these steps help! If you continue to have issues with the Music app, you may want to consider using a different music player app or contacting Apple for further assistance.
