When I use my wireless charger, why is my iPhone not showing the “green ring” on the Lock Screen?
It just vibrates and I have to touch the screen to know if it is charging or not. Everywhere on the internet it shows an iPhone with the green ring when charging wirelessly like the one in the Apple Watch.

What you’re seeing in other photos is a widget that’s been added to the Lock screen. In order to set this up, you’ll want to be sure that "Today View and Search” is turned on first. This section shows you how: Add widgets on iPhone - Apple Support
Once that’s turned on, here’s how to add a Widget to the Lock screen: Use widgets on your iPhone and iPod touch - Apple Support under "How to add widgets to your Lock Screen"
