Hi have bought a second hand Apple Watch Series 3 I am attempting to pair the watch to my iPhone 13. The watch is saying need updating gets to preparing and then disconnects. Watch is on charge and phone connected to Wi-Fi and next to watch.
is anyone able to help this issue.

Apple Watch 3 is a pretty old Apple Watch at this point. Many are finding the need to schedule a visit to the Apple Store Genius Bar to get help updating and pairing them. I'd recommend you do that.
