Any way to update firmware for latest (USB-C) Apple TV 4K remote control that will fix the problem of remote losing volume control 4 to 5 times per week?

Moved our existing Apple TV HD to another room and replaced with the latest Apple TV 4K with the USB-C charged remote. Approx 4 to 5 times per week the remote forgets how to control the volume of our TV. Resetting the remote (pressing and holding Control Center & volume down buttons) fixes the problem after waiting about 30 seconds for the remote to reconnect. Never had any issues with the previous old style remote. Annoying problem, so hopeful this is just a bug that can be fixed via firmware.

The remote gets any firmware that is available automatically with tvOS updates. There is no manual install for that. If your software is up-to-date, then you’ll have the latest firmware.

It works for other users, so your issue may happen for reasons unrelated to any version firmware, though.
