Create an audiobook from multiple files of MP3’s

I renamed on the Mac,

CD 1

Old name New

Track 1 to 101

Track 2. to 102

Track 3 to 103

Track 18. to 118.

.

CD2

Track 1 to 201

Track 2 to 202

After importing the newly named file to with 34 tracks, , only tracks 01 to 18 from CD1 ended up in Music.

No sign of the tracks fromCD2

It was loaded yesterday and plays all 16 tracks perfectly. The voice on the audiobook states: Midnight's Children, Disk 2 for CD2.

My goal is to combine all 22 CD's into one audiobook album, not 22 albums.

So what I am saying, is that there doesn't appear to be a problem with CD2.

Do you know how to combine all 22 CD's into a single album?

I thought I would try experimenting with just 2 CD's, thus 34 tracks as shown previously, but this didn't work either.

What is the naming convention for track names of the individual CD's? And the naming convention for each CD. How do they get connected?

The above is how the CDs and track names look.

There's no visibility to tracks 19-34.

When I hit play in music, only the first 18 tracks all from CD1 play. After Track 18, nothing.
