Hello jolea224,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you.

We're not exactly sure what you are experiencing. Could you please explain this with more detail? To make sure we're focusing on the correct device, are you using an iPhone or an Apple TV device connected to a television?

If you are attempting to cast/AirPlay from your iPhone to another device, have you checked to see if this is permitted by Netflix or Hulu? This feature may not be available for all streaming services. You'll want to check with the streaming service to confirm.

Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Some video apps might not support AirPlay. If you can’t use AirPlay with a video app, check the App Store on your Apple TV to see if that app is available.

If you're connecting your iPhone to a device with a wired connection, you may find there are still some restrictions for streaming services. But to make sure you're using the right set up, check out Connect iPhone to a display with a cable, to ensure proper set up.

Best regards.
