I just bought new AirPod Pros (1st gen) recently and I am experiencing something very weird. When I use spatialize stereo for some songs, the audio gets very distorted from the bass (I also have been using Apple music). I have tried to get the Airpods to update but they still haven’t. I am thinking they need updated or there is something wrong with them.

To start off, you don't have to do anything special to update the AirPods Pros firmware. As explained in this support article: About firmware updates for AirPods. "Firmware updates are delivered periodically while your AirPods are charging and in Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac."
