Apple music always on Lock Screen?

I am playing music from my HomePod throughout my home on multiple HomePods. My phone is not playing any media in the music app is closed. Every time I look at my lock screen the player is showing how do I get rid of that player on my lock screen, if there is a way to do it how can I have that there when I want it and close it when I don’t want to see it on my lock screen? I am on an iPhone 14 promax with the latest software as of January 2, 2023.

Hey tcSOLID,

As it turns out, even though you're playing music on your HomePod, it is still linked to your iPhone. When you play music and your iPhone is near, it will appear there too. The following has a bit more information on playing audio on the HomePod, just in case: Play audio using Siri on HomePod - Apple Support
