Reboot on MacBook 💻

My MacBook Air 2020 retina 13.3 inch has been on internet recovery for a while and keeps restarting so I can “restart a disk” I want to exit this reboot and get to my login. I also can’t use my keyboard. That’s what started all of this. I’m using a gamer keyboard and an adapter for my mouse as well. Please help.

Hey Bbandz_,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. You want to exit recovery and try normal restart. Right?

While your Mac is starting up in recovery mode, you won't have any menus to restart or shutdown. However, you should still be able to force a shutdown if you'd like. The following information is from Shut down or restart your Mac. "You can force a shutdown if necessary—for example, if your Mac becomes unresponsive—by pressing and holding the power button until your Mac shuts down. You may lose unsaved changes in open documents."

Take care.
