Location based reminders not working

When I create a new reminder, the location symbol is greyed out. Location services are on and enabled "while using" for the app.

This is on an iPhone 13 with iOS 16.1.1

Thanks for the reply, Bernd5364.

If you tap on the calendar icon, are you able to set the date/time and then use the other features available to create notes for this reminder?

We're also curious if you're able to change the list for this reminder, then attempt to make notes for it next.

If you still cannot make notes, Contact Apple Support directly for additional help.

All the best.

Hi Bernd5364,

Thank you for posting to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that your location-based reminder is not working. Make sure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS: Update iOS on iPhone

Once updated, follow the steps here: Use Reminders on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

That should help.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Take care.
