Picture messages and videos

i can’t seem to see pictures or video when they are being sent to me and all i see is a box that looks like a little file with a question mark. My MMS is on and idk what else to do.

Question mark in box in place of pictures on text messages What is Apple EVER going to do to correct the issue with pictures sent via text message reverting to a question mark in a box? Their responses so far are that the pictures revert to this “after a time”. Well, does “after a time” mean one day? Or, they respond by saying “update your software” — this is just a pat answer that does nothing! Or they might respond by saying to erase your phone/ipad data and start over. Not an appropriate response to many. They need to fix this issue, so annoying!

imessage won’t let me see videos or photos sent to me for the past few days , i’ve been receiving photos & videos but all that shows up is that white paper with the question mark . i’ve tried downloading it but it won’t let me download it either . what do i need to do to be able to see image .?
