CPU for iMac 27 , mid2017

What CPU will be better to take for my iMac 2017 which has i5-7600 now. i7-7700 or i7-7700k or i7-6600k?? About 7700k I’ve heard that it overheats because of weak cooling systems. But I’m sure that 7700 without “k” working good -but it has less power than with “k”) dilemma)) who knows how?)

You can't change CPUs in an iMac. They are soldered in. Not a replaceable item.

What type of computing are you doing?

I’ve heard that it overheats because of weak cooling systems.

Where did you hear that? And under what conditions? The iMacs have a fan system that ramps up when the heat gets above a predetermined temperature. I occasionally get the fans up with my 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 (7700k) when I have 32 windows open with Safari.

Oh you are mistaken! You can check that out) all these iMacs have usual desktop cpu ,for example my imac have i5-7600 , it’s an usual processor with socket-set. I think that you don’t understand what you talking about))) just Google it. It will take 2min))))) if you won’t be able to find I will send you the video how to change the CPU IN YOUR iMac if you have it, and if you’ll say me your model)))))
