square fit for photos

Hello!!!

I want to post images of my artwork that is generally vertical from my MacBook Pro laptop on Instagram without cropping.

The bottom and top are cropped out .....BUT..... I CAN square fit so as to prevent any cropping my vertical images on my I-phone using Whitagram app.

HOWEVER...I want to do the same on my MacBook Pro...is there an app that i can use on my laptop that will allow me to square fit vertical images for posting on Instagram??

You can crop them in the Edit mode in Photos to a square image:

Once you hit the square crop button you can move the photo around to get the best cropping.

I don’t want the photo of the artwork to be cropped.

And I would like to do all of the work on my computer … not IPhone…the computer is where I have the photographs stored and my external hard drive is attached to it.
