Speakers quiet when on a call?

Whenever I’m on a call on discord I can barely hear anything except for the person I’m on call with unless I use earbuds. With earbuds there is no problem whatsoever, but if I’m using my speakers I can barely hear anything else at all. This is extremely irritating as I can’t use my earbuds and charge at the same time. The volume works normally with my phone speakers when I’m not on a call and I can hear everything perfectly fine. Is there any way to fix this? I’ve been looking for a solution and haven’t been able to find anything.
