When I receive and incoming facetime call it disconnects my current phone call. This is a serious problem, I was just on hold for 30 minutes waiting for a representative to answer and I go a facetime and it disconnected my active call. This is recurring problem, and I need help fixing.

update to which iOS? I'm on iOS 16.1.2 and still getting the same error. When I'm engaged in a FaceTime video or audio call and receive another call, both calls drop and display a "call failed" message.
This just happen to me I was on hold for 2 hours had 4 people in front of me. Then a FaceTime call came in and dropped my current call. This needs to stop. It’s always happening I’m about to disconnect my FaceTime calls
Call I am on is disconnected whether or not I decline the incoming Face Time call. I have to text people to NOT face time me when I have to make an important call. Come on.

I have been having the same issue. Receiving facetime calls while on a call and my phone call automatically gets disconnected.
Has this issue been addressed? I am experiencing the same issues with an incoming FT call, disconnecting active calls. This is a big problem.

I have the exact same issue. AT&T on iPhone 14 Pro Max. Incoming FaceTime disconnects phone calls every time.
I hope Apple will fix this problem. It’s really annoying when you are in an important phonecall :’)
This happened to my bf when I tried to FaceTime him while he was on a call. It dropped the call he was on. It was a very important call. Please fix this!!

Same!!! I thought it was me I called Verizon twice they put me through to Apple support on phone w them now…..😩😩
Updating IOS has solved the issue for me. It’s a bug with a particular version of iOS 16 as someone mentioned in the comments. So just update the iOS and voila!
Has apple provided any fix for this? It keeps ending my work calls when my son face times me. It’s a major problem.
They said that they weren’t getting any complaints about it yet. However, I discovered that I needed to update to the newest version of IOS and that fixed my problem
