Blurred labels after update to TVOS 16.2

Has anyone else seen blurred text on Apple TV show labels after updating to TVOS 16.2?

Closed Captioning / SDH won’t turn off after app update Hi, I turned my LG TV on today and Apple TV app asked me a couple questions about something then went away, presume it had done an update as now when I try to watch any programme, they all have what looks like subtitles at the bottom. I have gone in and turned those off however the ‘Closed Captions & SDH’ is stuck at ON and greyed out - it shows ‘to disable closed captioning, change the setting on your device’ I don’t seem to have closed captioning setting on my tv, only subtitles which are turned off in the tv settings Thoroughly stumped! And fed up tbh as it’s now taken an hour of precious sofá time after a long work day and the text on the screen is irritating Any ideas please ? Thank you

Unless someone else chimes in with a good idea, I would suggest to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).

Does the issue go away after a device restart?

(I haven’t seen this on my setup.)

Yes, but it only goes away temporarily after restarting.
