I am using a Macbook Pro (16-inch, 2021) with a DELL U2415 Display monitor. The cursor remains visible on the laptop screen, but constantly disappears / flashes on the monitor. I have seen the suggestion to got to System Preferences > Accessibility > Display and increasing the cursor size there, but this does not work for more than a couple of seconds. Do you have any other suggestions? Many thanks.

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like your mouse cursor only displays properly on your native display. To start, have you matched the refresh rate of the monitor to your Mac? This may need to be done on the monitor itself.
Also, does this continue to happen in safe mode? That will help us determine if it is the Mac, or the monitor. Here is how to test in safe mode.
