iPhone hardware

My name is Jessica. I have an iPhone 13. Yesterday when I woke up I noticed the part of my charging cable where you plug in the cord in the bottom of the iPhone broke inside of the port and it won't charge anymore. It had broken inside of the bottom of the port where it can be plugged in. The metal pieces on the charging cable on the front and on the side is broken inside. It no longer chargers. When it broke I used the charger that was broken to charge my phone and it was working fine yesterday but at night it was no longer charging. Does anyone have any ideas that I can do? Anyway I can fix it myself or anywhere that I can go. I have an appointment at Best Buy that a lady set up for me when my mom called to explain the situation. But my appointment isn't till Sunday and I have an iPhone 8 but it not activated since I got my iPhone 13 cause I got an upgrade. When I am on my iPhone 8 it gets really hot just after a few minutes of being FaceTime. I can't wait till Sunday cause I need my phone fixed now and I don't know what to do. If no one knows what to do I guess that I have to wait till Sunday to get it fixed or hope that the people at Best Buy can fix it for me so it can work again. So if anyone can help before Sunday that would be great.

Thank you,

Jessica

Depending upon where you live you may be able to set up an appointment with a local Apple Store before Sunday:

Apple Stores often also have walk-in appointments available, but it may be a substantial wait.
