I cannot print from iBooks. Running IOS 16.2. The “print” button is missing. The print function works fine in other aps

The buttons are not shown but are working normally if you press at the location where they normally appear!
-Top right corner of the print window to print
-Top left of the print window to go back to the previous menu
A temporary solution till Apple correct this
The print button is there but is not visible.
Touch the location where it used to be and the print menu will appear
Apple pls fix this.
I can’t print ANY documents in iBook ap. I have restarted the IPad and tried several different documents. Same issue. I can print the documents with my iPhone. Printer works and documents fine. Problem is in iPad. Worked fine before the last update I can print from other apps just not iBooks
I have exactly the same issue. No “Print” button in the Print dialogue box while printing a document in the ipados Books app.
I have updated (via a Mac) from iPadOS 16.1 to 16.3; with still no Print button.
Printing from other apps is normal.
I hope the Original Poster, or anyone, will address a fix.

Thanks for posting there is no solution. I surely wouldn’t reinitialize, as updating via a Mac (Finder or iTunes) is purportedly installing an entire new mobile OS. Which ought to accomplish nearly the same thing.
My workaround is switching from my new $1k iPad Air 5th Generation back to my 2014 iPad Air-2 which prints any document.
Seems like if this was a software issue, there would be more chatter about it. Anyone besides us four saddled with this missing button?
I could understand an actual book with DRM not being allowed to print. I am speaking of 2 or 3 page reference documents, or even a recipe formatted for printing. I use the Books app to keep a myriad of documents organized with its Collections database feature.
This issue, as the OP shared, concerns the Print dialogue box opening with all the normal options available – except, no Print button. But thanks for the input.
It is terrible that APPLE after all this time has done nothing to fix this PRINTING issue. I have new computer & update on my system and still an issue. I love saving documents to "Books" especially while I travel and cannot print documents unless I snap a picture and print pages one at a time through Photos.
Me too. I save my crochet patterns in books and find it very frustrating I can’t print. Tapping the top right hand corner doesn’t work on my phone. I have resorted to emailing to myself and printing but even that is fraught with problems. When I type in my email address the send arrow disappears 🤷🏼♀️
Apparently not THAT temporary. It's May, 2024 and I just found this thread because I just encountered this problem. ('problem', not 'issue') I don't print from 'Books' much.

I do not, and would not, expect to print anything copy protected from the Books app. fwiw, I do not even use it for books. I AM expecting to print documents that I save here and should be able to print. I can do so, now, since I discovered the invisible Print button after reading earlier users' posts.
This confusion is unnecessary and should have been resolved by Apple a way long time ago. That's all.
Yup. Tried that already. Certainly was a normal way to correct errors and bad behavior in apps.

Does not help , can’t print any pdf file in Books. Need this fixed for a trip i will be taking and all my documents are in Books and need to print when out of country. Please fix ASAP
