STOP inactive windows from dimming itself

Recently while working on an active window, all other windows will be dimmed automatically! It’s so annoying. I want all windows to be with same brightness. Any opinions how to solve this issue?

Hi there Ahmed_Zizou,

To confirm, this sounds like this is happening when you move from one app to another on your MacBook Air, correct? Has there been any recent changes to your MacBook Air after this started happening? Your answers can help determine possible next steps.

Also, you could see if restarting your MacBook Air may help. It can refresh the macOS and apps on the MacBook Air, which may help resolve this. If needed, the steps below show how:

"Restart your Mac

  • On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Restart.
  • If you don’t want app windows that are open to reopen when your Mac restarts, deselect “Reopen windows when logging back in."

Those steps are from this link: Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support Please let us know if that helps or if you've already tried restarting.

Take care.
