Purchasing video gifts on a MacBook

Don't know what genius decided that an iPhone should have more capability than a MacBook pro. Love to gift a TV show via my mac. Apparently thats not possible anymore. Instead I have to navigate a micro screen UI to deal with a problem that was solved brilliantly 8 years ago, and no longer exists. Wake UP apple. You are going backwards!!! ARGH.

Not even this UI works for feedback. Yuck. Jesus Christ what are you people doing?

Cannot view / load 2017 purchased movie I purchased a movie in 2017 via iTunes. Today I can see all movies on TV app except for The Accountant purchased on 2017. Here is the purchase history view in iTunes: I have found the order in purchase history as you can see and also in TV app under purchase history. I also still have a copy on my iPhone. But I cannot play it on my MacBook Pro in the TV app. It simply does not show in the library under movies and I do not see where I can re-download it. Synching iPhone with Mac only results in the copy on the iPhone to the wiped out. How can I get my 2017 purchased The Account movie back on my Mac?

Why is a thumbnail of a tv show I didn’t purchase showing up in my library on the Apple TV app? I have a thumbnail of a TV show I didn’t purchase showing up on my Apple TV app on both Roku, and Android TV, but if I look from the apps on my iPhone, or the Windows iTunes software, it doesn’t show the TV show at all. When I click on the thumbnail of the show from the Roku and Android TV apps, there is just a blank screen, since I never purchased any episodes of the show. The only thing I know is the show was in my private wish list, but I removed it from my wish list, and the thumbnail is showing up on the TV apps. I think it might have happened the same day I purchased a new iPhone and activated it, but I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
