How can I speed up my brand-new MacBook Pro
Just opened my new MacBook . 1TB 16 core told me it would be blazing fast. Just used it for Skylum Neo. Opening the presets still takes awhile . If it is faster it is just a little. Is it possible I am not using all the power that is here?

it starts when your Mac first starts, and runs in the background until it has indexed every word in every file on your Mac, which could easily be all afternoon -- but only when awake and not busy.
how do I know when finished?

Open the spotlight search icon for status. if none, its done.
