All was fine yesterday on Apple TV. Today Watched History and Up Next queue are blank.
All Settings are correct. No changes.
I signed out and back in and restarted several times. No joy.

There is no viewable Watch History for the Apple TV app. Up Next should be available on any of your devices with the Apple TV app, when signed in with the matching Apple ID account. Up Next is an account property, not a device listing.

History was gone, so nothing was in Up Next. Watched one show, and it got listed in both History and Up Next. It’s like all prior watched shows and selected Up Next for future viewing were erased. But I did not delete them. The only thing I recall changing was my Apple ID password.

I wouldn’t think that doing that would cause a loss of account-related watch information.
Up Next and the Watch history can be cleared as a whole by doing “Clear Play History” on any of your devices. I am not aware of other procedures to that effect.
