Stop automatically adding calendar events from Mail iOS 16/Mac OS 13.1

How do I get Calendar to stop adding events automatically from Mail? I don't want Calendar entries for pick up rental car, return rental car, etc. This is just clutter. I'm not sure if this is controlled by an iOS setting or a Mac OS setting but I cannot find a place to disable "add events automatically from Mail" in iOS 16.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

Thanks, but to clarify, this isn't related to when I'm searching. It happens when I receive an email with (say) a rental car or restaurant reservation and those are automatically added to my calendar. This produces clutter and I don't want this added to my calendar. I tried changing the settings listed above on my iPhone and iPad and these are still appearing.

Hello RKNYC,

It sounds like you may need to change your Siri Suggestions for the Calendar app in order to resolve this issue. Follow the steps below from the following article: Change Siri settings on iPad - Apple Support

Change which apps appear in search
You can change which apps appear when you search with Siri.
1. Go to Settings  > Siri & Search, then select an app. (Calendar)
2. Turn settings on or off. (Under "Suggestions", turn off "Show in App".

Best Regards.

Phone support fixed the problem immediately. The problem was Siri Suggestions for Calendar--the setting had to be turned off on my Mac Mini (I had turned it off on my iPhone and iPad). I was able to replicate the issue by making a restaurant reservation and have confirmed that the problem is solved with a new restaurant reservation. Thanks all for discussing this.
