Hello,

Depending on usage, that is normal and is nothing to worry about. Generally, Apple will replace the battery under warranty if the battery health falls below 80% during the first year.

See this link by Lawrence Finch for some battery charging tips:

When to charge your iPhone or iPad

Good luck.

Hello amrjf

Without any further details on your exact phone model, use habits and charging habits, it is hard to determine why would the battery capacity drop to 98% within a month of use. Perhaps you are gaming with graphics intensive games for many hours daily and you managed to drain your battery significantly to the point of needing to charge your phone twice or even thrice a day? Or perhaps you leave your phone in a vehicle under the sun, where high temperatures actually degrades the battery chemistry? Please post more details so others may give a clearer advice.

Regards

Zarke
