Music Match subscription

I've just burned CDs to an old MacBook. Last time it took forever and lots of steps to transfer these to my other devices.

I'm thinking about getting Match but wondered if I cancel the subscription will it store my music on each of the devices or am I going to have to start the manual process again?

If the tracks are downloaded from the iTunes Match iCloud library onto the devices, they will remain on said devices after cancelling the service.

Makes sure you subscribe to iTunes Match and not Apple Music. They are different services that offer similar features. but cancelling Apple Music will make anything downloaded to the device unplayable after the service is cancelled.

However, any reason you don't just sync the tracks to the devices using iTunes? You just need to select the music and then click sync.
