How do you remove GPS Data from iPhone images

How do you remove GPS Data from iPhone images. Currently if I open an image in Photoshop and look at 'File Info' it shows the location and bearing of where the image was taken - meaning that someone could pinpoint the location of where the image was originated.

Hi GibWil,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

You're having an issue editing and removing the metadata associated with photos taken with your iPhone.

We're happy to assist.

We recommend checking out the steps in the "See photo and video information" section from the article here: View photos in the Photos app on iPhone

To see saved metadata information about a photo or video, open it, then tap the Info button or swipe up. Depending on the photo or video, you see the following details:

*People identified in the photo

*A caption field to describe the photo or video, and make it easier to find in Search

*Items detected by Visual Lookup

*Whether the photo was shared with you in Messages, another app, or iCloud Shared Photo Library

*The date and time the photo or video was taken; tap Adjust to edit the date and time

*Camera metadata such as lens, shutter speed, file size, and more

*Where the photo or video was taken; tap the link to view the location in Maps; tap Adjust to edit the location

We're recommending the steps above because they directly address the issue you initially posted about: you're seeking help with editing the metadata associated with photos taken with your iPhone.

Please let us know the outcome after giving the above steps a try.

Cheers!
