Boom Audio App Uninstall

Unable to uninstall this App. I have used Boom's own uninstall software, which removed it from my Applications folder. However after a restart it reappeared in my Applications folder.

If I try to move it to the bin, a box tells me it can't be moved because it is still open.

It is not open and does not open if I click on it in the Apps folder. However I am still getting Marketing pop-ups. (My free trial period has ended)

It remains present in my Sound preferences lists both for input and output.

There are no Boom related files in System/Library/Extensions folder

Any other suggestions please?

Whatever the Boom product is doing to annoy you is being loaded at login. It also seems to be responsible for its reappearance in Applications.

That's a good start. Also look in ~/Library/LaunchAgents for additional Boom related files. If you find a likely candidate for deletion and you are unable to delete it because it is open, you can either start your Mac in "Safe Mode" or kill the process using Activity Monitor.

Other possible places to look are

and
