Boom Audio App Uninstall

Whatever the Boom product is doing to annoy you is being loaded at login. It also seems to be responsible for its reappearance in Applications.

There are no Boom related files in System/Library/Extensions folder

That's a good start. Also look in ~/Library/LaunchAgents for additional Boom related files. If you find a likely candidate for deletion and you are unable to delete it because it is open, you can either start your Mac in "Safe Mode" or kill the process using Activity Monitor.

Other possible places to look are

/Library/LaunchAgents

and

/Library/LaunchDaemons

Just to add, there are two different uninstallers. One for Boom Audio and one for Boom 3D Audio.

I just have one comment, you would have to pry Boom 3D out of my cold dead hands before I would delete it from my Macs. 😎

It's a good product but marketing nags or uninstallers that (maybe?) don't work is not good.

I suppose I could run the uninstaller on just one of my Macs to see if it works as it should. BBIAB.

Just as well, now I don't have to reinstall it.
