iOS 16 keyboard haptic

Does anyone feel that the speaker kinda louder than before if u turn on the keyboard haptics with sound. It’s strange, so I disabled it for a while.

Keyboard Haptics very weak Since upgrading to IOS 16.0.2 i've noticed my keyboard haptics have become very weak to the point of being useless. With sounds off and in a totally quiet room with my ear pressed to the phone I can hear the haptic engine pulse, but its so weak it can't be felt. I've tried turning keyboard haptics on and off, turning vibrations on and off and resetting network settings with no success. All other haptics work fine so it doesn't seem to be a hardware issue. Is this a known bug? It was a great feature while it lasted.

Sound on keyboard haptic iPhone 14 pro The keyboard sound haptic appears to be in reverse. If I pull the volume to max the sound haptic is low, if I have the volume all the way down the sound haptic is annoyingly loud. It’s been like this since I first purchased the phone a few months back, I’ve restored the phone, factory reset it and still the volume control for keyboard sound haptics is reversed. I have a few apps that the volume control doesn’t even work at all even if I completely delete the app.

Keyboard haptics not working on iPhone 16 Pro Max after iOS 18.2 update I noticed that lately the keyboard haptics on my iPhone 16 Pro Max has stopped working out of the blue. It seems to be shortly after upgrading to iOS 18.2 last week. I have gone into settings and checked the keyboard feedback settings. I've tried turning the switch off and back on, and that did not fix the issue. As a test, I turned on the sounds which I had turned off previously and they are working without an issue. I just restarted my phone and have tried again although I had restarted it just this past Sunday. During the troubleshooting process I noticed that my action button which was set to switch between silent and regular mode did not give the usual vibration. Fortunately, the restart seems to have fixed it...for now. Has anyone else experienced this or a similar issue? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Hi Nikachi,

It sounds like you're looking to turn off the sound for the keyboard haptics. If so, the steps below in the article here will assist: Change iPhone keyboard sounds or haptics - Apple Support

"Turn iPhone keyboard sounds on or off

Open the Settings app.
Go to Sounds & Haptics > Keyboard Feedback.
Turn Sound on or off.
