According to this, the regular warranty is just a one year mfr's warranty. See Apple's legal document here:

That is what is included with your device purchase. Anything "Applecare" is a purchased plan.
Applecare is the old version of Applecare +. It is still available to purchase in a few countries.

Except the OP suggests they have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Which as we know has not been out for a year yet, and since it would come with a one year warranty, it should not be expired yet.
I would advise the OP to contact Apple directly about their warranty coverage.
If there is no Applecare, just the regular warranty, the 90 day free tech phone support coverage could easily have expired. The term "Applecare" is not always used properly and - my guess - does not apply here.
The regular warranty IS AppleCare. The premium paid for warranties are AppleCare+ and AppleCare+ Theft & Loss (where available). All new iPhone's come with one year of AppleCare warranty and 90 days of free technical support. But AppleCare applies for a full year. AppleCare+ plans add an additional year of coverage and full technical support for two years (which includes the first year of ownership)

Thanks for your response. I contacted apple support(India). They are asking for invoice unfortunately I bought it from dubai and I have lost my invoice and stuck badly in this situation.
Please let me know if there is a way out.

They do tell you that you need to keep your purchase receipt if they decide they need to see it. In this case, I am guessing they want to see it since you purchased it in another country. Unfortunately, I do not know of a way around that unless you can convince an Apple employee (in a store and in person) to accept that you are the original owner.

If you bought it in Dubai, the warranty is not valid in India. The warranty is only valid in the country where the device was originally sold.
Because all warranties expire - they are not forever.

And the on year standard warranty is still called AppleCare.
I bought this 14 pro max today and cannot install apps from AppStore. Please what can I do?
