Ventura Freeze

My laptop keeps freezing when using Adobe suite Premiere Pro, Ilustrator, Media Encoder and any web browser, since updating to Ventura. I work editing video and audio so it is annoying and waste of time having to restart several times during the day.

What can I do? should I go back to a previous OS?

Hi IvanMendiola,

We can understand needing your Mac to be responsive when working in your third party apps. You mentioned that this also happened when using the web browser, is this happening in Safari? The reason we ask is that it will help with isolating this issue a bit further.

If this is only happening with third party apps and the macOS app seems to be running as expected, you may want to confirm there are no updates available to install for those apps. Updates contain bug fixes and security updates that can help the functionality of the apps with the new macOS.

To update apps on your Mac:

  1. launch the Mac App Store
  2. Tap Updates in the side bar
  3. Tap Install to update the apps
