Weather app layers not loading correctly

As of May 2023, still not fixed. I‘ve been having this exact same issue since I got my iPhone a year ago. Restart and connectivity are not fixes here. Anyone have suggestions for a better app? I’ve lost faith in this one ever working properly.

App is still flaky in regard to radar map not rendering correctly. There are so many bugs and UI issues in this app Apple has repeated deleted other posts calling out the issues in their Weather app. The radar was literally reversing itself today while trying to manually scroll into the future. Please bring back the fully functioning DarkSky app instead of punishing your customers with this half-baked solution

Seeing this yet again on iOS 16.5 with iPhone 14 pro max! Radar fails to load correctly! A key feature to get idea of when rain will pass through etc! Cone on Apple this has been going on way too long now! Get it fixed!

Same here, we have a very large rain event approaching where here on the coast we take pretty seriously, and nothing while other apps are working perfectly. Apple weather is buggy. Often the weather is wrong, so much so that I rarely use it and when it does inject itself to my digital life, I have to go to another app to verify: weather mate. You’d think a company so concerned with Global warming/climate change would have a better weather app.

Yeah, this weather app precipitation map is so great when it works, but it hardly ever does. It’s definitely on Apple to fix this and they just don’t give a ****. I hoped buying a new iPhone 15 might help but it does not, it’s even worse.

Same issue here. NJ, iPhone 13 Pro. Latest iOS.

Same problem in charlotte. Most of south east not loading.

I’m experiencing the same major bug in the Apple weather app running iOS 16.3.1 on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Same weather app issue on my wife’s iPhone. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Annoying.

I wish dark sky never sold to Apple. Pouring here near Chicago and yet radar does not show any precipitation! I don’t understand how the developers get paid and still not get this to work!

I’ve been having the same problem since the app was introduced. It happens on both iPhone and iPad. It also seems to have gotten consistently worse as of late.
