How do I delete Messages that aren't visible??
Why oh why can't I delete messages from my iCloud backup? I've deleted them from my phone, but they show as still taking up space in the backup....but when I go to the detail page in the backup it only shows less than 1000 kb.
What can I do?

The 804 KB is the top conversations. The rest of the number is the other conversations, pictures, videos, audio files and data required to sync.
Honestly, if it were me, I'd spend the .99/month to increase the storage to 50 gigs.

I already donate all my spare money to the Nikon Corporation so upgrading isn't an option. But that doesn't answer the question.
Where is iCloud storing my messages and how can I see, sort and delete them? The message queue on my phone is empty but iCloud is full.
How do I delete messages I can't find?
You can't review or delete messages directly from iCloud. You can only delete them from your individual devices through the Messages app.
