Home sharing

Hi

i have just bought an iMac 24” to replace my old later 2012 iMac 27” system. I’ve never had any trouble connecting home sharing to my Apple TV but I cannot get it to find my library. I have tried to turn on home sharing through media sharing. That seems to work ok, but when I turn on home sharing, it turns media sharing off again.

I have rebooted the iMac and the Apple TV several times. I have checked I am on the same iCloud Id and rebooted the wifi system

does anyone have any ideas?

cheers

Paul
