I have an Ipad Pro 12,9 with Ios 16.2
A couple hours ago I was writing an email with two image attachments on split screen (Messenger on the other half). The Mail app closed and when I re-opened it all my sent emails were gone on two pop3 accounts. I then tried to update folders, restart Ipad, modify settings but nothing worked.
Does anyone have a clue about it?

Typically, when working with a POP3 account, the emails are saved locally on your device. Which may be an advantage if backups of your device are made regularly.
