Skip buttons missing on Music app, only back/forward 30 seconds buttons

After upgrade phones and backing up from the cloud, the Skip buttons are missing on Music app. In its place are the back/forward 30 seconds buttons. Any insight on what’s going on?

Skip and pause not working I have the latest updates installed, but after i updated, my pause/skip buttons on the pull down menus don’t work. doesn’t work when i lock my phone and the music player is on the home screen either. it’s with all services, like youtube and spotify. i haven’t changed any settings and i’m not sure why it’s happening but it’s a bit annoying that i have to open my phone anytime i want to skip a song.

Is there a way to keep the controls/progress bar from disappearing while having the lyrics displayed on Apple Music? (iOS app on iPhone) Hello, this is a constant annoyance idk how to fix. I like seeing the lyrics scroll and have the controls/progress bar always visible while I’m playing music in the Apple Music app. When I initially play a song with the lyrics showing, the controls/progress bar are visible, but they quickly disappear after a few seconds. That said, they do come back if I scroll up/down on the lyrics themselves. I’ve made countless searches and no one has talked about this as far as I can tell. And yes, I know that clicking the quotes icon will get rid of the lyrics and show the controls/progress bar all the time, but that’s not what I’m asking. I’m specifically asking if there is a way to keep the controls from disappearing while the lyrics are scrolling in the app (I really don’t need them taking up the whole screen, and having to mess with the screen just to get them back is annoying and leads to “misclicks” (mistouches?)) I have an iPhone 14 Plus and it is up to date (iOS 16.6). Thanks, John

Clear up next shortcut is broken in iOS 18 Has anyone else noticed this? It worked fine in iOS 17. In iOS 18 it just removes one song from the queue.
