I'd like to replace the usual "Send" keyboard shortcut in Apple Mail with the fast and easy one from Outlook: command-return. When I do this in system settings, it seems to work, but in the Mail app menu bar the replacement is instead shift-command-return. Anyone know why? Maybe command-return is already in use?

In 20+ yrs the only way I ever sent the mail was using the icon...
I do see a default short cut in the drop down
