Live record automations in Garageband

Is there any way to record automations without having to get so complicated?

There is a way to record automations of notes in live by enabling recording on a track and modifying the midi smart controllers in real time while recording. But it seems that the recording resulting from modifying a certain intelligent control is assigned to the controller itself, therefore, the recorded automations that I can use are limited by the number of intelligent controllers that fit in the interface and the position where those controllers are located. Also, it is not possible to record automations on tracks, only in the notes tab.
