Word documents on Onedrive won't open through spotlight

My Mac used to open word files completely fine through spotlight, but recently started having a little bit of trouble. Spotlight simply refused to open any word document, that has this weird stretched finder symbol. (see image)



As you can see, there's another stretched one drive word symbol, which is where I have all my word documents stored. Word documents stored on my Mac locally work normally. Clicking on that onedrive symbol works to open my document, but not all of word documents populate with that icon. (see image)



Also, when both options are available, the side blurb describing the document are different. I'm not sure if this is useful, but have it posted here anyway.
