I am using macOS Big Sur and I'm trying to delete a mailbox that we no longer have service with. I right click it and hit delete and it won't delete. I have already gone into Settings - Users and deleted the account from there and it shows deleted. It is in the Mail side bar where it won't go away!!! Help please!
Thanks, I had already done that (go to Mail - Preferences - Accounts), and the account was no longer on that list. But I finally figured out that I also had to go to Mail - Accounts and delete it there as well. Thank you for your response though. Revisiting it made me check the other place.
