Multiple duplicate mailboxes are listed. My macOS is Monterey.

How can I get rid of the duplicate mailboxes?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 12.6

IMAP settings a strictly for server email. When you create an On my Mac mailbox, those are static mailboxes you can move emails to or copy them. Be sure to name your On My Mac mailboxes differently from your IMAP mailboxes so you aren't confused. Naturally inbox will refer to the IMAP inbox in each account.

Hi a brody! I have 2 email accounts: earthlink and gmail. Both use IMAP email servers.

Yes, the mail boxes are on my Mac.

I don't see the accounts listed more than once.

The problem is that because of the duplicated mailboxes, my emails take many minutes to open and I can't control the mailbox behaviors.
