Multi-touch gestures over screen sharing

I'm connecting from my Macbook Pro to a Mac Mini at work using screen sharing. I have basic control of pointer and apps and so on, but any multi touch gestures I do on my Macbook work locally, and do not get sent to the remote machine (all multi-touch is enabled on the remote as I use it with a trackpad when there).

Is is possible to configure so that the multi-touch gestures I use on my Macbook (e.g. 3 finger slide to change desktops etc) are passed through to the remote machine when I'm Screen Sharing in full screen mode?
