3-4 Finger Window Switch(Via swiping)

With My previous device (2015 Macbook Air), I was able to switch screens with the use of a 3 finger swipe on my trackpad from either right to left(resulting in swiping right) and vice versa, however, since I have switched to my newer Macbook Pro 13", I have found that both 2 and 3 finger swipes merely cause a return to the previously searched page, and that now a 4 finger swipe is needed. Is this simply something I must get used to, or is there a way to customize this setting?

This behavior can be modified. Check here:

System Preferences > Trackpad > More Gestures

Adjust the settings for "Swipe between pages" and "Swipe between full-screen apps"
