iBook Store
There is no actual search feature for looking up a specific book. I have no Idea what category it’s in. Not helpful. Why was this eliminated? How do I find a specific book in iBooks Store.

No it doesn't look like that on my iMac running Venture 13.2.1 and Books 5.1 -
I see now that if I don't select Book Store at all it does show Store Results so the information is actually there, but not very intuitive. See img below. One would normally think if you select one of the choices to search on the left it would search just that. I still believe it would be more intuitive for a search function to show up along with that browse button after making your choice on the left which could include an "All" button to accomplish the same function, provided by the present search button.
I now see how I can use the app on the iMac, thank you for that. I'm sure the present system probably makes perfect sense for the 20 somethings but it could be a little bit better for the over-the-hill, crowd, such as myself.
How mine looks:

Aha. If you have none of the menu items selected below the search field, do you get a Top Results page with some books of his with prices?
I think your points are valid, it is not intuitive or very logical the way it works. Let Apple know via

Does your Books app not have the search link shown in this photo?
On MacOS it is at the top instead:
What device are you doing this on? The Books App on iPhone, iPad and Mac has a search option that covers both your own library and the store.

Tell us your device and os version and I am sure someone can post a picture to show you where it is.
I have a new iPad but it seems to be missing the search. 16.1 or whatever the latest update was. I guess I’ll call Apple care. It’s not the only problem having with it. Thanks
Oh my. I feel very foolish. Right before my eyes. Thank you. I really appreciate the help.
I can’t say I like where they put it but glad I now know where it is.
When I use this feature I get audiobooks. I do not want audiobooks. How do I find search for titles that can be read?
Where are you located?
What is the title of a book where do you do not get the ebook version?
Pay attention, Apple! What is the point of having a product webpage without a search function embedded right on the page with a link?????? Are you trying to sell stuff or just frustrate the users?
Yeah, that's what I was showing you with my image, but it doesn't search the bookstore, only my library.
