Old Mac salvage

I have an answer if you are on a old desk top Mac and can only run El Capitan osx 10.11 you have already noticed your email is crashing -the fix - you can down load an early version of chrome to be your primary system it works great -don’t throw that old Mac away- you will not be able to update to latest chrome but who cares?

Slow operating system in Monterey 12.7.6 I have an iMac late 2015, bought in 2017, essentially entirely rebuilt at the genius bar in 2024. Over the past few months I am having issues with the installed version of Microsoft Office opening, MacMail showing email (I do bring in gmail email and I know that creates some of this). I am only now running Acrobat Reader, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Numbers, Firefox and Safari, and MacMail on the system so I am at a loss as to how to improve performance. I have run the free Malwarebytes which an Apple tech told me to use and there are no issues there. Start up is also incredibly slow, when and older iMac I have starts without any issue, and programs launch without any issue, so not sure what is happening here. HELP!

Issues with MacOS Ventura I received a software update reminder yesterday on my 2017 iMac so I installed macOS Ventura 13.5 last night. Once the software was installed, I received some popup notifications about various files related to Trend Micro Antivirus which is no longer supported and I no longer use. I dragged each file to the trash. I also received a popup about DMR Manager indicating the file was corrupt so I dragged it to the trash as well. Today, my email will not load. I would appreciate assistance with this issue. Thanks in advance for your help.
