Beats fit pro pair with iwatch for runs.

Can anyone help me pair the beats fit pro with my Iwatch? I run with only the iwatch and ear buds, but I can’t seem to get the beats fit pro to work unless the iPhone is on me.

thanks in advance!

Hello IcuErRN,

You mentioned the Beats only work when you have your iPhone with you. Are the Beats still paired with your iPhone when you are trying to pair them with your Apple Watch?

You can check in the iPhone Bluetooth settings: Set up and use Bluetooth accessories on iPhone – Apple Support

On your iPhone

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap on Bluetooth
  3. Tap on My Devices
  4. Look for your Beats and tap the "i"and chose disconnect

Now try pairing your Beats with your Apple Watch.

Connect Apple Watch to Bluetooth headphones or speakers – Apple Support

"You need Bluetooth headphones or speakers to listen to most audio on your Apple Watch (Siri, phone calls, voicemail, and voice memos play through the speaker on Apple Watch). Follow the instructions that came with the headphones or speakers to put them in discovery mode. When the Bluetooth device is ready, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app  on your Apple Watch, then tap Bluetooth.
  2. Tap the device when it appears.

You can also tap the AirPlay button on the play screens of the Audiobooks, Music, Now Playing, and Podcasts apps to open the Bluetooth setting.

Two screens side by side. On the left is a screen that lists two available Bluetooth devices: AirPods Max, which are connected, and AirPods Pro, which are not connected. On the right is the Settings screen, showing Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Display & Brightness, and App View buttons in a list.

Choose an audio output

  1. Touch and hold the bottom of the screen, then swipe up to open Control Center.
  2. Tap the Audio Output icon, then choose the device you want to use."

Cheers!

Hi IcuErRN,

Are you attempting to play Music that you've synced to your Apple Watch? You can confirm that your music is syncing to your Apple Watch by going to the Watch app on your iPhone.

  1. Launch Watch app
  2. Tap My Watch tab
  3. Tap Music

If you need to sync Music you can do the following:

1. Set your Apple Watch on its charger. Make sure that it's charging and that your iPhone is within range of your watch.
2. On your iPhone, open the Settings app, then tap Bluetooth. Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on.
3. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then tap the My Watch tab.
4. Scroll to Music and tap it.
5. Tap Add Music, then find the song or album that you want to sync.
6. Tap the Add button  next to the music that you want to sync. If you can't add specific albums or playlists, try downloading them to your iPhone before you sync with your watch.
